In my 17 years’ of work in various professional roles, I have led strategic projects involving business process re-design and implementation of complex technologies with multiple external and internal dependencies.

Specifically, I have depth of experience working within operationally-focused areas and managing diverse teams in a direct supervisory capacity, both virtually and in-person.

My experiences, particularly in health care, have taught me the importance of ensuring the business processes are supported by the technology. People, and the business processes created and supported by people, are always the foundation for project success. I enjoy seeing a project completed successfully and watching individuals grow and learn throughout the process.

I grew up in West Michigan, graduating from Aquinas College, with a BA in Communication, and from Western Michigan University with a Masters in Public Administration with a healthcare concentration.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and family, or volunteering at the Women’s Resource Center and my church.
